Wanna see some standing waves?

Eyup!

A good demonstration of the effect of standing waves.

So, if you want to check out the resonant frequency of your studio, just fill it with propane and throw in a match.

Steve

Sine wave? Twat! Sine squared wave, which is a different beasty altogether!

But still very nice Steve, thank you. :)

Actually, after a chicken vindaloo, 12 pints of Bass, and nothing more than a lighter, you can perform a very similar experiment yourself.

And that experiment is very reminiscent of n-track 4 in many ways.

Sorry Flavio. :(

(v5 is looking nice. :))

Nice, very nice. :D

That was a fascinating video… Thanks Beefy Steve…

Bill.

Just be aware that technique usually only works ONCE! :D

Man, that rocks. Music is cool enough on its own, but when you add fire to it…

Thanks for the link :)

Bacon, fire and cheese make most things better. Beer on the side of course.

Which begs the question;

Which came first bacon or fire? Raw bacon is still bacon yes? Perhaps early man discovered the joys on munching on pig parts and later accidentally dropped a piece in the newly found FIRE. Hmm... we may have to rewrite the history books. Oh... never mind, they are doing that anyway. :)

Actually D, the cheese came first, they scraped it off their teeth!

Bacon is defined as any of certain cuts of meat taken from the sides, belly or back of a pig that is cured and possibly smoked.

In the United Kingdom and Ireland, bacon comes in a wide variety of cuts and flavours whereas bacon in America is predominantly what is known as “streaky bacon”, or “streaky rashers” in the UK and Ireland.

Bacon made from the meat on the back of the pig is referred to as back bacon and is part of traditional British and Irish breakfasts. In the US, back bacon is referred to as Canadian Bacon.

Canadian bacon, as in the American interpretation (Back Bacon) actually is rarely eaten by Canadians unless in fast food breakfast sandwiches from American chain restaurants.

So, bacon is a pig that died and then was cured.

Jews are not allowed to eat bacon, so for their version of “died and then cured”, see Mark, Mathew, Luke and John.

Francis Bacon, the English philospher and sailor, actually preferred ham, which is why the phrase; “I ham what I ham”, is common among sailors (but not philosophers).

So, now you know! :D

After twelve pints of Bass, I think the Vindaloo is really not required. :O
