I may be missing something (always preface), but when I enter a new Name in the Channel Properties for a rewire channel, the new name does not appear on the Mixer. If I rename the channel for a VSTI channel, the new name DOES appear. I would like to use the rewire client so I only have the actual channels I am using displayed. I have also read rewire is better at managing unused channels to limit CPU usage.
Any ideas would be appreciated
I was hoping, with the work done to the Re-wire client in the latest build, that this might have been addressed. Unfortunately, it was not. I hope bumping this post might increase the chances that it will be addressed soon. Specifically, it would be nice if the group name entered for the Rewire Channel properties appeared in as the name of the channel on the mixer as it does for all other types of channels.
