Rotating Speaker Plugin

Any recommendations?

I’m looking for a good affordable rotating speaker (Leslie) plug-in. I would use it primarily for guitar, but enhancing my keyboard would be nice, too.

The Native Instruments B4 is a bit pricey for me.

SpinCycle appears to be a good option.

If you’ve used SpinCycle, let me know what you think.

I would appreciate any other options if they exist.

Thanks.

I’ve always used Mda Leslie. It’s free. Whether it’s good, or true to life, I’ll let you decide, but it’s always managed to do what I want from it.

There’s a good one at SoundFonts.it.

Also, try SpinBug from BetaBugs.

Yup, I agree with Duncan that Mr Donald, found at soundfonts.it, is a cracker, also visually amusing. For organ only, try Organized Trio from the same site, a wicked virtual Hammond with good Leslie effects.

Happy swirling!

Thanks to all for the input. I’ll check out your suggestions.

I was also going to recommend MrDonald. I haven’t used it seriously but played with it a bit when it appeared earlier this year and it seemed pretty good – especially for the price. You pay the small “donation” once and you get a code that works for all of Guido’s plugins, which constitute quite an impressive list.

And of course, you don’t have to pay the donation unless you want to get rid of the nag screens. So you can check them out thoroughly without paying a peseto.
