Sample Editing

On the Timeline

Hi n-Trackers:

Today I’ve been using n-Track to edit a project I’ve been working on.

I haven’t done much of this type of work on past projects, but I found myself Expanding the timeline out to the “Sample Region”…

I have to say it…
Gents…
this “Sample” Edit works pretty nice.

For those of you who haven’t spent any time exploring this “Sample” edit region…
You owe it to yourself to import a track onto the timeline and do some experimenting…
Some of you have already been there and done that with n-Track… However, this type of editing with n-Track is all new-to-me…

I’ve not been there before so, today is my first attempt…

When the timeline is stretched out to “Samples”.
you’ll see each sample as a “DOT” that represents a SAMPLE…
At that point-in-time, a series of samples can be “Dragged” by clicking-and-holding your left mouse down and dragging the held mouse down till you’ve altered the DOTS to your preferences…
Then let go of the left mouse and There you have the altered file on the timeline.

Reverting back to the “Total File” or Show “All File” on the Timeline you’ll see the altered file as you’ve adjusted the “Samples”
to “Taste”…

However, I have been unable to “Undo” the procedure…
The UNDO Doesn’t appear to work on my P-111 Machine…

Has somebody been able to UNDO the Sample Edit procedure on their set-ups ????

Bill…
