Schure SM58

Is this Microphone Stereo or Mono?

Im just confused as #### - got it working up with N Track sweetly but just had some weird guy in shop going strange - I bought the Microphone online as it was WAY cheaper than the stores in my city…

Just not really up on microphones - bass and guitar is so my thing…

Whatever way this is surely a decent Microphone for recording as you guys recommended it?

Shure SM58 is a mono microphone, only one channel. Stereo microphones are usually larger and have two capsules. You may be getting two tracks from a single recording, but they are clones of one another.

Don’t listen to the wierd guy, after all he’s wierd.

.-=gp=-.

Thanks man…

Playing live is easy but this recording has been a pain for our band too do but you guys make it easier…

Everyone seems to say on here Shure SM-58…

I take it and hope this baby can create decent vocals provided I can actually sing

and thats debatable!

I must be having another “senior moment,” I thought I posted on this topic before…?
