Should we contact Greg Eisenmenger?

http://www.lawyers.com/Florida…-a.html

He’s also on Facebook:

http://www.facebook.com/greg.eisenmenger

Couldn’t any Tom paste the links?

My conclusions:

A reputable law firm would not use such techniques to “advertise”, therefore Greg Eisenmenger is either not a legitimate law firm or does not know it it’s happened.

or.... it's not a hack, it's a bug.

I've not looked too closely but there is a user who joined recently http://forum.ntrack.com/cgi-bin....0849089 with a username of Gregg1c.

Also looks like there’s been no updates to Ikonforum software since 2008.

Bill..

No, I don't think so Bill.

It could be a hack where somebody has maliciously changed the data held for each member by exploiting a security flaw in the software. But this doesn't make sense - you'd do that do advertise your porn site or fake Rolex watches, but not a lawer.

So I wonder if it's a bug where someone has innocently registered or just changed their profile information and the software has updated everyone's profile by accident. This is my current favourite explanation.

I had a quick look in the members list to see if I could find a member that might be a lawyer and might be called Greg. Clearly I can't look at the "real name" field because everyone's has been altered to be the same, so I just looked at any recent members who might have a user name that could be related to this Greg chap.

Clear as mud?

Sorry to any of you who might have a visual impairment..

The Board was working so well..
At least I thought so..

Could it be time to re-install The Board ???
OR..
would that be the FIX for this issue ????

If only I could find a Five Year Old to fix this P-111 Machine..
:)

Bill..

It makes sense if they have also infected the website (greg’s in this case) with a virus. I did not click through b/c his law website has an unknown status according to Norton.

It didn’t “Light-up” My Security Application… However, that didn’t cross my mind, to even think about that… All I did was play with the map to see exactly where his neighbourhood is down there…

Bill…

Good point, Tom.

I did have a look at the website. Didn’t alert anything here. Looked fine.

I think it’s a bug rather than a hack. Trouble is that this forum software is pretty old and hasn’t been actively developed for several years.
