question - who has money to invvest right now?
obviously - not your average americans who just watched their
savings take a nose dive. They will sell and head for safer Treasury Bills. And not small businesses
who have no credit lines anymore. So who’s left? Maybe the folks
who just recieved a substantial portion of the 700bil.
This is what is driving the stock market. Again they are
gambling with tax payer money. The collective strategy is
probably massive coordinated buys and sells which produces enormous swings or high volatility - which is probably better than a total crash. But how long can they keep this up?
For some reason I’m reminded of something Sam Walton said when the 87 crash happened - “It’s only paper.” or something to that effect.
The odd thing is - to me anyway - I have not heard anyone but Washington and Wall Street complaining.
And now are they saying “trickle down” economics does work? when it’s bad, just not when it’s good?
I hear talk this morning on CNN, as I drink my coffee and watch the stock market continue to slide, that people are starting to cash out their 401(k) plans. This is not the time to be doing that.
If you take any stock chart - convert it to a .wav file
remove the dc component, and play it - you get
’Help me Help me’ or ‘Help me I’ve fallen and I can’t get up’

And now are they saying "trickle down" economics does work? when it's bad, just not when it's good?
Who said that? Get me a fish so I can slap them....
You know… “They.” “Them.”
Free Punkins in the Park today, wonder if my 6 year old will grow up and tell her kids that things were so bad back in 2008 all we had to eat was free pumpkin hand outs at the city park. Think that’s what I’ll tell her. We always roast the seeds and have 'em for snacks anyway. “Honey remember when things are bad the government will feed you… pumpkins.”

“Let them eat pumpkins!”
