Sorry if these questions are stupid (newbie)...

I just upgraded to the latest version…

Have the functions changed?

I used to be able to highlight a specific part (ex: middle) of a .wav file and make it play back from there, now highlighting parts makes no difference…its still plays back from the very beginning.

This had me baffled for a second, too…

Yes, I beleive it has changed. Instead, click on the timeline where you want the playback to start, and press play.

If you want to start from a specific point, put in a marker. (right-click - Add Marker Here) Use Crtl-shift-left/right arrow keys to switch between markers. I use them all the time…

Hi freds and Nils K:
Under the “Transport” drop-down menue you’ll find “Loop Selection”… Hi-Lite IT and IT’ll play all day…

I never though there was another way TO-DO IT…

However, give that a try…
