I started this one on 8/18/2000, and it has bothered me ever since.
So here it is, and now it’s not taking up valuable HD space and can go into storage.

got it now. geez, tom, it’s been a while since i’ve heard a song in that style. it reminds me of a late eighties soundtrack piece, almost. But there’s something else in it that i can’t put my finger on, and that’s cool. it definitely sets a mood, and i like that, too. i think i need to play it again for a better analysis…
…here’s the solo…i’ve heard that guitar sound on acoustic-type alice in chains stuff as well as steely dan, and i’ve always dug that sound. besides wah pedal, what else is on it?
well, that seems particularly well done. a great retro feel to it. the vox has a great presence in the low end which helps the sonic structure of the sound. it’s easy for songs based on a tech-drum-loop things like that to sound thin, and you conquered that. nicely done!
