I loved these guys/gals…

D

Yep. awsum band back in the day, hated it when they went commercial out the wazoo!

“In The Hall Of The Mountain King” on the “On The Third Day” lp wuz my fav! :agree:

Yeah! Man… yeah!

Great stuff! Haven’t heard that one in years… I wonder if Jeff Lynne still has that Gold Top and would consider donating it to ME?!? :)

D

I never got this song. Were they actually buried that close together that he could roll over and tell him anything?

Still love that song but I agree with you Yaz, they went a little too sweet and sickly later on. On the subject of Beethoven, this was nice also…

The Capris covered the Ventures instrumentally… and… Vocally, we did that stuff as well…
Chuck Berry had a version of that song that we copp’d back then…
We didn’t have all the big stage equipment…
or Lighting and all…

I think the year was 1961-62

I remember we made about
15.00
to
25.00
a night…
That was big money for us
back then…

Then, in-and-around 1964 the Beetles and Ringo Starr did a version of that song…

Back then a popular British Vocal Group was Eddy Richards
and …
Who knows the group
????
Were they called the Shadows ????

Does anyone remember the name… Lonny Donnigan ?
and the Skiffle Group…
Big British
Group…
OR…
Bill Haley and the Coments ??? USA Group…
Sure you do…
In-and-Around the late fifties/early sixties…
They were popular in Europe and the UK…

How old are you guys…
anyway ????

Bill

It was good times and music, back then…
