The older brother gets into the act

Our son Graeme wrote this a couple of years ago, but wanted to re-record it, so we did this afternoon. Donā€™t shoot the piano player, or the guitar player for that matter.

The song is called ā€œRace Carā€ - here:

lol - yer life is plum full of treasureā€¦

Keep ā€˜em cominā€™

Tell him itā€™s better than half my stuff and I made a livinā€™ at it.

Now, Iā€™m not going to suggest to ANY of my kids that they try to make a living in music. The son wants to be a math professor. Thatā€™s OK with me. :)

All three songs are excellent Tom, the kids did a great job!

Hmmm, Iā€™m visualizing the ā€œSpademan Family Variety Hourā€ in the future.

Yaz

Perhaps, but ā€œIā€™m a little bit shoe-gazerā€¦Iā€™m a little bit Brittanyā€¦ā€ just doesnā€™t have quite the right ring to itā€¦ ???

TomS:

Great songā€¦ it made me smile - as all good songs should.

Iplan

So he sang it at his school talent show with our homemade backing track, the last week of school, and he was the only one who knew how to use a microphone and for the rest of the week, I swear Iā€™m not making this up, even the 5th and 6th graders (heā€™s just finished 4th) were walking around the hall singing it.

variety show like ā€œstarland vocal band variety hourā€, rather than donnie/marie whatever.

great sound

The young Spademan sings with passion!!
Cool tune!

Our very own Ntrack Von Trappe familyā€¦

Great fun Tom, love the way he puts some growl into his voice

How many kids you got now Tom? Weā€™re not gonna end up with the Osmonds here are we?
