In a way, I feel kinda guilty about that last one, but I know someone has put my name on a list of easy marks made available to every charity in the state of Tennessee, and one in Mississippi.

Yep. You gotta watch that stuff Kev. I use to get a phone call about once a month from some outfit supposedly representing the Alabama State Troopers asking for a donation for one charity or another. Just so happens, I have a friend at church who IS a State Trooper. I asked him about it. He said "You didn't give them anything did you!?!?" with a concerned look on his face. Turns out it was a total fraud.
I'm all for charitable organizations and give often, but only to the ones I KNOW to be legit.
