I emailed Flavio about the volume automation using plug-in compenstation problem. He suggested upgrading to ver 4. I upgraded to build 1746 from V-3.3 1513 (hated to part with it because it was so reliable). build 1746 solved my latency problem with the UAD-1 and n-track!!! I have the crazy noise issue where it starts making noise and says I am out of resources, when I not. But like Phoo says it is usuable and I am glad I upgraded (I Think). Still there are a lot of things to try yet. I really like the UAD plugs. I feel they are in a different league than anything eles I have used.
If you want to use the UAD-1, it does work in N-track.
