bit late
im about to upgrade from 3.0 to 3.3 and i downloaded what seems to be a full version of 3.3 from the link on this site someone posted eons ago.
am i supposed to uninstall 3.0 and reinstall 3.3 with the reg codes i had for 3 or am i supposed to just install 3.3 over 3.0?
ive been really reluctant to upgrade for the longest time due to fear of problems doing this but the bugs in 3.0 like some vsti’s always defaulting back to its original preset everytime i run a track is just annoying.

No need, as far as I could tell. I’ve always installed over and not had any problems related to that.
With V4, it uninstalls any old version before installing a new one. Not sure whether that was to fix some problem seen in V3, or whether it’s due to some new thing in V4.
