i’ve been a portland fan since childhood (duh), and most everyone in portland HATES the lakers, and kobe is very easy to HATE.

many of those players from that time are beloved by portlanders not only as players but also a great people and residents of portland. drexler, terry porter, the late kevin duckworth, jerome kersey are all iconic figures here.
I suppose now that the Sonics are the Nonics I should be a partying in the Rose Garden, plus the Sonics lost me when Nate left…being from NC it’s a lot of fun to follow former NC (played at a college in the state) players wherever or whatever they are doing now…Jordan, Karl, McMillun, Perkins, Wallace…the list is nearly endless…Earl Monroe, Curly Neal.
