I have installed it and at the Save settings prompt I reverted to default…
I would suggest re-starting your settings…
again…
I observe one track on the timeline shows .3% CPU Usage after reverting to default…
no effects or anything added to the timeline track…
Looks good-and-stable from here…

Here’s a test for ya Bill.
Load a track into N and solo that track.
Via the mixer strip open that tracks eq dialog box.
Fade a little L and R and compare the visual read on the vu meter for that track against
the master channel vu.
On my system in build 2506 the track vu shows louder on the R
while my master vu shows louder on the L.
All produced from the same track.
What do you get?
This could be why some of my mix’s have been a little iffy lately.

I discovered an issue…
In the Track Properties window… There is a TRIM: Audio Part Volume Pot…
There…
you are able to adjust the track’s level…
The pot works… However, if you open the “Enter the level by typing the level in, using the keyboard and then pushing “ENTER” the level doesn’t change”…
The enter the level (using the keyboard numerical number) feature does not work…
At least not over here…

Never mind I just tried it on my laptop and it’s fine.
But I sent Flavio a pic of 2504 doing that on my DAW.
It’s weird.
When the vu jumps to the right on the track meter it’s jumping to the L on the master meter.
I’ll have to strip that master channel and try the newer build!
Sorry for the goose chase! It has to be something on this end or that previous build.
If what you are seeing is correct, where you are, That would really screw up the audio/visual conception… 
Could it be you are smokin’ some bad stuff ?

Yea that makes one a little curious.
What to believe!
To the point that I stopped my mixin.
Guess I can use the phones for the pans.
BUT I just checked a different track in a different song and it’s all ok.
Must be me, forcing pans via reverbs or whatever.

I’m glad to see that’s not an issue.
I just downloaded and installed the new version … And now I can’t use any of my VST’s.
I am in the middle of some work and this could not have happened at a worse moment.
Rule #1 of DAW work;
NEVER “upgrade” a working system in the middle of a project. (Specially n-Track…)
Maybe check Prefs to make sure the path to your VST folder is still set.

You beat me to the punch. I was painting in the house today.

So far I deleted all my vst’s from the n-track vst folder. I then reinstalled them back into the n-track vst folder. Good news is I got rid of a lot of vst’s I didn’t want. The bad news is I will have a lot of tweaking to make them stable again.
BTW… This is the first time I have had a problem like this and I have been using n-track since 1.???(I forget-lol)
Really all you had to do is copy the contents of your v1 or v4 or whatever Version vst folder and paste it into the v6 vst folder. Also leaving the last build alone and on your system. You shouldn’t have to tweak much of anything. Unless your actually upgrading from V1

I have v6.0.6 b2510 installed on the Sweetwater Creation Station in the studio…
I went directly to the Track Properties of the track I have installed on the timeline and looked at the " Audio Part Volume Control" button…
The same condition appears on that machine/setup…
It may not be a bug that the control is set-up with that adjust resolution…
and…
all…
However, the dialogue entry box does not work on my Studio machine… The same as the On-line machine I use…
That may be a bug, if that control does not answer to keyboard commands…
I think that’s a BUG…
Maybe Flavio can look into that feature, to see if that behaves way on his test setup…

I have to disagree, there. In a perfect world, you would just have to copy the .dlls, but many plug-ins use registration and/or activation. Moving the plug-ins will sometimes screw things up, particularly as nTrack still seem to crash when a VST misbehaves. Re-pathing the host programs to find them is safer.

I have a “sister” set of machines…
They are both ASUS/Intel E-5200 DualProcessor 2gig ram Vista 32-bit machines…
Both machines connect to the Internet… However, the CreationStation machine cannot download mail…
I can browse with both machines and visit the n-Track Board with both of them and I can update Windows/Security features and all with both of then…
but not mail with the studio machine…
I have Norton 360 installed on both machines…
I get the odd spam files…
I am unable to open the LAN…
I have a Permissions Issue that I need to resolve yet…
Can’t fix it…
My security filters are set medium-to-medium/high…
Both of these machines are loaded with drives… I have several terabytes of storage space between these machines…
I may never run out of folder-and-file storage space…
We’ll see…
So far I’ve been lucky…
NO Crap…
