View Problem

Noob needs help

I am running version 5.1.1 in Vista. In the view, the tracks in the timeline are huge. I can only see 1.5 of them because of how tall they are. I cannot figure out how to resize them so that I can see more tracks at once. I see how to minimize them but I just want them a little smaller is all. How can I do that?

Look in the tool bar for the magnifing glasses, one shortens the length and one increases the length, one shortens the highth and one lengthens the height. You’ll see arrows pointing the direction.

least I think that’s how it works.

Perfect! Thank you. I knew there had to be an easy way but I wasn’t finding it in the manual or in trying things.

Yer most welcome! :)

Hi GrandCherokee:

Up on one of the toolbars you should see the ICON… “View All Timeline”…
If you mouse click on that icon you’ll re-size
all your tracks on the timeline…
If that works,
then you’ll also see Up-and-Down Arrows and Left-and-right arrows that you can play with to resize the tracks you want to see on the timeline…
If you pratice with all of that for a while you should be able to see the tracks you want to see to suit your needs…

I hope that works…
If it don’t work… come back to your topic here and ask again…

Bill…

[edit] YOU BEAT me to it… I missed your reply…
