And another node problem
I just installed build 2308 and noticed that the Tooltips balloon that used to fly out when you hovered over a volume node is missing. It is back the way it was in an earlier version where you had to actually click on the node to see the level. However, the very act of clicking can change the node level if your mouse moves a bit, so having the level show just by hovering over a node was a handy feature that I had asked for, and got, many versions ago.
Another problem: When I do click on a node and see the Tooltip balloon with the volume, that balloon stays on the screen until I click another node. If I don’t click on another node, the balloon just stays on the screen no matter what I do. In fact, as I type this message in the forum, I have a balloon sitting on my screen that says “Track 1 volume: +0.0 dB” that just won’t go away.
Is anybody else seeing this behavior with build 2308?
i am running WIN 2K - Flavio made some changes in build 2308 and i cannot get any tooltips at all in timeline -

There seems to be some problems with the “fly-out” notices. It works until the timeline is clicked. When using the volume envelope I click and set a node, the fly-out box appears with the information. If I go to another track and set the envelope node the first box goes away and the information for the last one appears. However, the last box stays on the screen until I click on the timeline - I find that only clicking on the time line removes the fly out box. Once the timeline is clicked, the boxes go away and no longer appear when editing the envelope. Exiting Ntrack and restarting Ntrack restores the disply of the fly out boxes. Hopefully this will be resolved quickly.
In the mean time, I guess you have to do all your envelope editing in one pass, or start and stop the program. I feel sure this will be corrected soon.
I just downloaded 2309 and it appears to have fixed the problems with the “fly-out” boxes.
Thanks Flavio!
