Man, what have I been thinking all these years? I just have a measly kick, snare, floor tom, rack tom setup with two crashes, hats, and a ride… (And a sampler, but I suppose that counts for lots of stuff too…)

Yep! I had a blast last night for many reasons… Gio is a friend and ex-bandmate, I got to hear someone else adding to my music instead of me doing everything, I got to drag out all of the toys I’ve been collecting for the past couple of months - remember those threads with me bugging ya’ll about which interface/mixer/microphone(s) to get?
Anyway, we’ll get together again next week. I’ve got twelve new songs for him to lay tracks on, and then I’ll start bugging my backup singers, lead guitar players, harmonica player,and violin player to add their pepper to the soup. Good times!
