where can I find an external VU meter

I am trying to find a couple of External Needle Type VU meters to use to monitor the audio coming out of my computer.

I find plenty of LED kits and plans, but I can’t find just a plain old needle type meter (not too expensive of course).

Can anyone offer any ideas?

You could pick up an old reel to reel on ebay or try out the free plugin from PSP audioware. Its pretty cool.

Radioshack? Or that old r2r sounds like it might work for you.

thanks for the responses. For now I have borrowed a Teac VU bridge with 4 meters and 8 inputs. I might try to see if I can keep this.
