i have a dod 231 qx with 2 channels…31 bands each ranging from 20 to 20k on the other end…what is the mid range on this?

Actually, I don’t think I’ve ever heard or read a discussion on where the exact points of separation, or overlapping, are between lows, mids, and highs. Different mixers have their EQ ranges set up differently, and I don’t really have a rule of thumb myself. Off the top of my head, I’d say the middle of the mids is somewhere in the 500Hz-700Hz range. Someone here is bound to give you a better answer than that.
