Sounds a good plan to me :) Take a listen to Break The Rules by Status Quo, that's the feel I was thinking of but a tad more bluesy, harmonica, extended guitar widdling etc...
Who's in?

Just wanted to orgamize.

If someone needs a ballad singer for a project sometime, I would be happy to join in a group project.
Bax

Bax would be a great one to hook up with for that!

About the 12 bar blues if that’s what your doin, I have a session today so I’m rushed. But maybe I can catch’up later.

:) Yeah! Rossi is very 'English', very nasal voice with a strong southern accent. Also...one of the best Rock n' Roll guitar players I ever saw.
 Ballad for Bax next? Gonna be a busy year for the n-Track All Stars!

Is there a snippet of ‘The Rules by Status Quo’ around somewhere for this ‘Steely,Zep,Floyd et al’ type?

it might make you register (it’s free) or it might not.

With Status Quo.....you couldn't be further away from Zep, Floyd etc... They're a straightforward 12 bar, 3 chord, boogie band.
But don't take it too seriously, just threw it in as a general feel. After the last project, I just thought we could pull off an uptempo blues number. Some fabulous guitar players here :agree:

Maybe 'Roadhouse Blues' would be a good examnple, but a bit dirtier than The Doors :)

Hey...I'm feelin' guilty now. T'aint sposed to be my blues thing. Just threw it in the pot.
But if your goin that way, tag the chorus straight on to the end of each verse and make it times 3, with an instrumental break between each of them.
Cheers Poppa!

well ok then - might as well give me a key to so I can do harmonicy.

Nah....Well maybe somewhere in between.

Listen to "It Hurts Me Too" from the Savoy Brown album Blue Matter, they were a great Blues Band.
