As you all probably know, evidence from mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA), which only comes from the mother, suggests we all had a common female ancestor who lived about 150,000 to 200,000 years ago.
Who her husband (or husbands) were, we don’t know, that data is not encoded in the mtDNA.
However, recent research on the Y chromosome, which is only passed father to son, suggests that our most recent common male ancestor only lived about 60,000 - 80,000 years ago.
So, it seems “Adam” lived a long, long time after “Eve”.
Well, I reckon it’s because it took god the extra time to achieve true perfection.
However, according to Denise; he created perfection the first time, and only produced the second version to keep the monkeys amused.
