for those who like traditional Christmas
Final mix of one tune on the Merry Melodies project I’ve been suffering through on my new Vista pooter with.
This is her first recording ever.

Great arrangement, great mix. Is the piano a sampled one, real, or what? It sound great.
But tell us about the singer. I like how she sings it, but, if you’ll foirgive me…a tiny bit of autotune might help here and there…
Keyboard was a big’ole’yamahasumpin’er’nuther - almost as wide as my studio room - I plugged it in direct then tinkered it in the mix.
(You are forgiven my son - go and sin no more.)
She was incredibly ‘pitchy’ to put it gently… She’s a great live singer - and to her credit this is the first time she’s stepped up to a mike with a set of headphones on. She didn’t even know how to tell me what she needed to hear, more or less of - herself or the track - I think she may have pushed to hear herself and the intonation tell the tale. We’ll get there on the next project.
Again my ignorance prevails - they have an autotune ? Who is they and where dey be?
Good God Mon, ye must ken o’ the autotune! Yclept Melodyne, or Antares, or GSnap (free and works fine in n-Track) or others hither and yon…
gol darn 'er roy… thanx fer da 'fo - just found gsnap. lol
got dang ole anteres is sure proud of their product ain’t they.
Now we’ll see if I can fix 'er up.
