All About 6

I’ve never seen this problem in any other app.

It a simple matter that plug-in latency compensation is being applied to some areas but not others (which is not a bug necessarily, and may very well be by-design), but what is being drawn to the screen doesn’t match what’s being done, and that is the bug.

I think maybe Bax was referring to Waves pluugs… not n-Track itself. I dunno… Bax?

Regardless, whether we call it a bug or a “by design” issue, it’s still a problem along with the other places where PDC seems to be broken. The odd length renders and such. Again, we pissed and moaned about this stuff over on the ‘R’ forum until Justin fixed it. But he did indeed fix it. All renders come out sample accurate and perfectly null against each other when tested.

I’m still waiting to see what else is in store for V6. Who knows? Flavio may have all these things in the works…

Sure hope so! I’m pretty fixed on the "look and Feel’ of n-Track.

Let’s be clear…this IS a bug…and it’s a really bad bug.

Latest bug? Seems Ntrack will not run some of my Waves vst’s…I tried the vst versions of the dx plugs with big latencies (the vst versions don’t have very much latency)…it is not the vst’s because the very same ones work in R (gasp!) and Wavelab right from the ntrack vst folder…Just locks N up tight until I task manager and kill it…this is getting a little tedious…all future new projects are going to have to be done with R until this gets ironed out :(

Cheers,
Ray
