Toggle volume
I see that ALT will show volume line down the middle of each track.
Yet in one project I have unintentionally turned it on. ALT turns it off.
How do I toggle the volume draw display on/off, please? Key search terms not found in PDF guide.
did you check out the keystroke shortcut list in the Manual?
that is where I would look, I know flavio added it in the search que a while ago.

I found the answer through experimentation:
The toggle is by clicking the DRAW VOLUME icon.
ALT key will momentarily reverse the selection to show or not show volume line.
