Audio Track Fading Out Occasionally

Running on iPad gen 7th

IOS 18.7.9

n-Track Studio 10.5.126

Extended Subscription

When I playback the session looped and tweaking effects parameters, suddenly the audio level from my Aux track is fading out until zero dB at random time/position. And then it suddenly jump up back to loud to normal Level.

I don’t have any automations, soft clipping on Master is set to OFF, Clip gain is untouched at 0db, no crossfades either. The auto Gain on Comps and Limiter are on, but i don’t think that caused the issue here. I’ve tried to bypass all the effects on that track but the issue still persist. Audio level still dropping slowly until 0db and then jumped back to normal (not fading in). It almost like when you’re running on a Demo version and has a time limit if that makes sense. But only on the track that i’m tweaking on.

It happened in a couple of projects while playback and tweaking the effects parameter.

Appreciate any advices.

Cheers!

Hi, thanks for the detailed report!

I’m Gabriele from the n-Track team, and I’d like to help investigate this issue further.
Could you please provide a bit more information?

  • Does this happen consistently in those specific projects or randomly across different ones?
  • How many tracks/effects are typically active when this occurs?
  • Are you using any specific plugins (stock or third-party) on the other tracks that could change the volume of the incoming audio signal?
  • Does the issue still happen if you start a new empty project and try to reproduce it?
  • If you remove and re-add the Aux track is the issue still present?

If possible, it would be extremely helpful if you could share one of these faulty projects as an .sgw (share button → Export Song → Share as multitrack project).
That would allow me to debug it much more effectively. You can send the file to gabriele@ntrack.com

Thanks again for reporting this.
Best,
Gabriele
