I have 2 questions about AUv3 plugins.
The first one is: How to record or draw an automation for chosen parameters?
The second one is about a icon that I don’t understand….
I add a screenshot here:
I am on iOS last iOS operating version / iPad Air last generation
Thanks for your help
hey brother I’m on windows so i cant give exact intructions but i might be able to help you. The red icon you have pictured is to allow for your fader movements to be recorded as you operate whatever parameters assigned at any given moment. Pretty handy way to avoid having to manually place envelopes in timeline as well as it having a more natural swing and feel when done this way. kind of like it was when recording was still completly analog. Now, to find your button that swaps your timeline view from the default editing screen to show parameter envelopes. First go to your menu if not already done and make sure in preferences that the option to allow automation is on. Second,on your toolbar there should be an icon resembling the “settings” icon found on most phones. This should upon clicking, give 2 options. customize workspace and customize toolbar will be your options. engage the “customize toolbar” icon. Once there you can find the icon your looking for and place it on your toolbar so it will be there anytime afterwards without needing to do anything extra. the icon looks kind of like a volume swell from left to right with half of the icon shaded and the other half empty. i hope this helps you bro
Hi
Thanks but even if in your video you said that it works for third party AUv3 plugins, it doesn’t work for them. Only for n-Track ones.
I am disappointed. I have all iOS DAW. I thought that I could replace AURIA with n-Track due to all the bugs in it but no.
I can’t mix without plugins automations.
Cubasis is a nightmare while you are working with audio….
So no solution.
Thanks
Ed
