This is something that has bothered me for a while - when adding a part to an audio track, the balance gets reset to centre - is it possible to preserve the set balance in these circumstances please?

Hi Ian,
I was able to reproduce the issue, it will be fixed the next update.
I reproduced this by importing with the “Add channel → Import audio track” and entering the number of an existing track. A workaround could be to instead drag and drop the file from a folder onto the track, that doesn’t change the track pan.

Unfortunately drag and drop doesn’t suit the way I work, I like to specify the exact time offset where I’m placing the part. I know I could manually edit the offset after dropping it, but I get a bit nervous after the drag and drop problems I reported before (which neither you nor I could reproduce subsequently).
I can work with it as I have done up till now, I just have to remember to check the pan setting before adding the part and reset it afterwards. Looking forward to a fix though, thanks!
Ian.
