Fartunia is so irresponsible we’re thinking of replacing him. With the tsunami wiping out most of the bean crop (fortunately there was no loss of human life in Flatonia) Fartunia hasn’t been himself recently and has gone into hiding from embarrassment - no beans - no gas - no self-esteem. It’s sad - Very sad.

Well, I dunno about our psychologist friend, but I personally am a lot “elder” now than I was(you will be too, someday) , I have a beard (neatly trimmed, thank you), and I teach in a community college. You had better watch what you say about community colleges, I teach at one by choice, as do most of my peers, and we provide a service that you’d probably suffer without, whether you take classes at one or not.

Now, back to more important things…talking about playing music.
The go-cart idea is a good one. Basically, it is a Non-contingent Reinforcement procedure (NCR). In this case, our hypothesis is that the target behavior (i.e. pointless posting) serves the function of gaining attention from others. If we give a large amount of attention non-contingent of any particular type of behavior, the target behavior will decrease. If they already get a lot of attention, there is no need to do anything else to gain attention.
So, now I must apologize for my pointless posting.
