Sorry, up and down in my opinion.
I just downloaded and plan on recording with this version over the week-end. Can you elaborate on the issues you are having?
Thanks,
Shayne
The build is working well for me. Load faster and has not crashed once (although, I never had many problems with 5.1 I did experience some problems with earlier Bata 6 versions.) I don’t use Midi so I cannot comment, but audio is working well.
I can’t get it to save any changes. It did for a while tonight, while I was on’line but I just spent another hr mixing and redoing the same eq changes and saves over and over. Plus the changes that saved earlier where gone when I opened it back up, off line. Tis a pity.
The worst that I’ve seen nTrack. Hope for Flavio’s sake it’s my system.
Levi
I think it is your system.

ya I think in part it is to. Vista! When I get a chance I'll reinstall and cross my fingers and toes.

My issues where with songs recorded in earlier builds of V6.
You should be fine recording new songs. I hope.
Bax likes it, that ain't bad.
Levi, two things you might check:
See if removing any .npk files.
The .npk files are created automatically by n-Track and they will be recreated when you open the file in n_Track automatically if they are not there - removing them will not hurt a thing and they Might be causeing a problem if the old information were not over-written by the new program.
I have heard of this happening on earlier versions, but not with 6 - still, you could do us all a favor by checking and seeing if that makes a difference.
I’d like to know if that helps.
Do you have an older version of n_Track on the same computer?
Loading version 6 does not remove the earlier version.
Flavio has said that older version should be removed to use 6 versions - could cause a conflict.
I am Not using Vista, but is it possible it is protecting changes to your computer? Do you have a program that is restoring automatically to an early version of data? You might open a song, make a simple change, make a note of the date and time stamp, open and close it a few times over time, and if the song reverts, check the date and time stamp.

There is indeed a problem with saving changes made with the track compressor in version build 2352. It has been reported.
Bax
I just got an email from Flavio - build 2355 should fix the problem.
