anyone could add "Tools and Accessories" to do this stuff.
ANYONE? - after looking at some of that, you might wanna qualify anyone!?
You programmers are a unique breed you are.
I say anyone because I used “Rules For Tools” as a way to learn programming – really. After picking up “RFT” I got books on “C” because I had no idea what they were talking about and took it from there. Started with the sample and went form there. Before this the only coding I did was in BASIC on a Commodore 64.
So what happened to the program phoo - did I read on that site that microsoft bought it? I saw the screen shots - looks user friendly.
Microsoft bought Blue Ribbon SoundWorks and everything they created. Some were kept and released by MS, some were eventually allowed to released for download for various place. The technology is the root of DirectMusic, but after 10 years it’s old (in spite of the fact there is nothing that can replace it).
Bars & Pipes is available for download on the internet, and the source is available too, as they are for many other Blue Ribbon products. Got an Amiga?
There is also an Amiga emulator that runs under Windows, so there is hope. I tried it years ago, but wasn’t able to get the soundcard to work. Maybe that’s all been worked now.
