Can't get ntrack drums to play

Hi,
Help! I can’t get ntrack drums in v10 or v9 to play when recording. when I hit the pads for each of the drums and it works, but when I play or record, I get nothing. I have 7 installed and it works fine, I select drum kit and style, and press play and I have drums.
I have looked at all of my settings and compared them but no luck. I believe something is not set up correctly or I need to do it differently in v9 and v10? It is probably something simple but I haven’t been able to figure it out.
Using delta 1010 sound card.

Scott,

make sure that n-Track Drums step sequencer is turned on, it’s off by default. To turn it on click on the red circular on/off button in the top left step sequencer view, see the screenshot below.

Thank you so much for your help with this. I have been attempting to get this working for days. Guess I should have just posted, and I would have it working much sooner.
