Change of bpm after recording song audio

Hi, I have created a song containing a lot of audio/midi tracks recorded in n-track studio at 90 bpm. Then I tried to chage the tempo of the song to 100bpm. Then the audio sounds glitchy. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi Vegard,

we’d be glad to investigate the issue, could you please send the song in sgw format or, if that’s not possible, a short video showing what’s happening to support@ntrack.com? Try to see if you can isolate which track is causing the issue. Also check if the issue also exists in the mixdown. If the glitches are there during playback but not in the mixdown it’s possible that the cpu cannot handle that many tracks, instruments and effects together with the resampling needed to change the bpm of the audio tracks.

Hi I’d like to say that I LOVE that audio tracks can now follow the tempo if changed faster or slower, THANK YOU!
However, on iOS I frequently find the quality of the audio recorded part (acoustic guitar for example) can sound damaged when sped up or slowed down even a few bpm difference. No probl ms with MIDI of course. Is there a best case setting for changing the tempo of an already recorded audio track that can allow it to sound as normal as possible?
EDIT- I checked and when I adjust my settings to 32 bit and 64 bit audio engine the audio tracks retain their original clarity at various speeds. Does this make a difference or am I just crazy?

Hi, update after help from support.

Solution:
When change of tempo after audio tracks are recorded, the default algoritm is used. This seems to work fine for most tracks, like vocal, electric gitar… But for some aqustic instruments like slow nylon guitar, it could introduce glitches or noice. The solution is to pick a different algoritm. Like “dynamic”. This is is selected in track properties. Thanks for help from support!
