Don't interrupt me

Just trying to please you guys, here’s this afternoon’s such as it is.
It started out as a ballad, but sort of sped up.

“Don’t Interrupt Me, I’m Singing"

"Who cares about quality?
Americans like things big.
Big cars, big sandwiches, big stomachs, big egos, big bank crashes…”

This American does NOT like big bank crashes… :disagree:

I’ll check out at home Tom. Your other one too… Slow down! I can’t keep up with listens!

D

I always loved the Birds, has that feel in places! Might as well milk that style no one else is and you do it well. Thinking your wasting away as a teacher, get a gig

Eyup!

Yay! this one’s got the Spademan Solo.

That’s what we like :agree:

Steve

Before the first verse was over, I was thinking “this sounds like a theme for a tv sitcom”. Loved the guitar solo. :agree:

Nice! Great tune Tom! As usual…

Hey, D, you are a monster with a dictionary. I goota come up with some good new words for you. I’ve been on an early modern English kick lately. Fun reading really primitive logic texts in the vernacular. Seriously. They are funny. ???

Well you’ve come up with a new word “GOOTA” ? ? ?

It just struck me as to who you really remind me of, are ya ready?

He’s a great songwriter.

Roger McGuinn

And that my friend is a compliment!

The mix sounds better with cans than on speakers. Vocals getting lost on both tunes.
Good tune! :agree:

Words and especially somewhat obscure words are fun. It's like I tell the wanna be's around here at work;

"If you can't dazzle 'em brilliance, baffle 'em with bullsh!t."

Even if I don't know anything, I can sound like I do...

D - BS artist

You’re showing off now…

Another good un. Don’t you ever do any rubbish?
Just what we were talking about the other day…a classic Beatles formula was to not have a chorus…or was it not have verses? Well whatever it was it worked.

:agree:

I understand how not to have a chorus, but how does one not have verses?

Thanks for the listens and nice comments fellers!

Well you replace the verse with the chorus…or the chorus with the verse…

just one big rousing chorus throughout. we actually do a worship song like that, 'cuz the verses are kinda hokey. so we just play around with the instrumentation. after about 24 minutes, people get the point.
