Hi ange:

The closer I look at Hugh Jass's avatar and the photo he posted the more they look alike to me..
I just don't know about these guys who live below the 48th parallel ?
However, there's a crossover-or-something.. I'm somewhere at the 45th parallel, or just below..
the 44th
but I ain't one of them..
Americans.....
I mean..

Bill..

Billy YOU ARE a north American, deal with it lol

Hehehehe…
loll…

I’m one o them East Coast Bluenosers…
way over on the North American TiT…
:p
No Boday really takes us seriously…
Do They ????

Bill…

Well ya got a point there Bill  just kiddin!
Hey the ‘Who’ are playin during the half time of the super bowl tomorrow!
Will you get super bowl coverage up that way?
Would you even watch the game? I’ve always loved football myself.
Wish I could still suit up and play.
Pete Townsend was always pretty remarkable.

Hi Levi:

I can remember the very first Super Bowl Game…
I don’t know who the teams were or where it was played, though…
Sorry…

I was still living home with my parents…
We had a black and white Television… There was no cable…
Where we lived we received two channels…
with rabbit ears on top of the TV…
I didn’t really know the significance of the game and day…
However, it 's the type of day that brings the people of the country together to root their favorite team to victory…
Football is pretty big over here…
but, so is soccer and baseball and hockey…
I am one who doesn’t have cable into the house… If it’s on a network like the CBC or CTV or Global network, I’ll be able to watch the game …
I’ll throw my coat hanger out the window with hopes it’ll end up in the snow and be pointed the right way to the TV tower that is showing the game…
:p
:)

I’m being smart with you…
lol…
hehehe…
Maybe, one day I’ll get cable…
again…
or…
put a dish up on the roof…
Way back in the early ‘80’s I designed-and-built a 12’ dish and brought in all the stuff that was up in the Clarke Belt in those days… (It was called a 4 Metre Dish) I could bring in some 100 TV and Radio channels back then…
It was parked out in the yard and taller than the top of the house…
It had a electric/chain driven motor that could move the dish from horizon-to-horizon… ( IT was known then as the C-Band…
Now it’s called the KU-Band…
Smaller dishes…
and all…

Hey, I got a 1 metre dish and an 18" dish out in the studio…
I just don’t have them up and aimed and all…
Maybe, one day I’ll mount them and point them up there…
We’ll see… )
I could see anything I chose…
Then came the day when all that stuff was scrambled…
That was the end of watching TV, as I knew it…

AaHh…
Levi…
I’m 23 in my mind and 93
in my bones…
AND, it’s still -10c and warming up to -5c sometime …
today…
That’s if the forecasters are correct…

Maybe, one Super Bowl Sunday, I’ll come down to your place and we’ll watch the Super Bowl game in your new stadium, when they play it there, that’s down there…
What do you think…
??
