Free Haas Effect plugin

For those of you like me who are too lazy to pan, copy and drag a mono track.

Free Haas Effect Plugin

How does it differ from a pan and a delay?

control is easier. 'bout it.

Thx pop’s, I be lazy.

Oooh! Thanks Pop.

For those of you who don’t know what the Haas effect is.

Take a mono track, copy it (clone) - now you have two tracks the same same. Pan one hard left and one hard right (100%). Nudge one track 20 to 35 milliseconds and see what you hear. This free plugin does all that for you and has more control.

Nicely put. If you’ve never done it - have a go - it’s sonic magic.
Then! Grab this tool because the job can be tedious :agree:

I’ve done that before, didn’t know it had a fancy name - also, don’t some “vocal wideners” do this, along with a small amount of pitch shifting on one of the tracks?

Yep. In 'R' it's called "Ozzifier"... Pretty cool if used in moderation.
