Got an M-Audio MobilePre to use in our recording club. Really nice little interface. I’m not so sold on the Pro Tools SE program that came with it, however. The GUI is clean and all, but it sure is slow, and is not exactly feature-rich. relief Guess I can stick with what I know and have used for a long long time.

Don’t know about in the US but Pro Tools is industry standard over here…
Special Edition… Essentially LE for MPowered stuff and even further stripped down.
I do admire the clean GUI, but it loads so slooooowly…I can see that it’s about getting people to upgrade.

I guess you have never used PTLE or HD... whatever SE takes to load, add 10 minutes.
