i just thought that i’d share this… i recently purchased a book, “modern recording techniques”( ~$45 paperback…) and i have to suggest it as a fabulous resource…
any other similar resources out there that you guys would suggest?.. i’ve checked a lot of sites on the web, but have found them to be generally lacking enough info to maintain my interest…

in fact, i wonder if anyone here is interested in a book loan/exchange program?.. generally, i’ve found that these special topic/interest books are not to be found at the library… and the cost is prohibitive to building a library… i was thinking that we could simply mail copies for some period of time in exchange for some other book/resource… just a thought…

Here are some I’ve enjoyed:
Behind the Glass
by Howard Massey
The Tape Op compilation (Larry Crane editor)
There is a new book by Michael Shea that is absolutely fabulous, but last I looked they had the cover and contents mixed up onthe publisher’s website. the picture is here, but the content description is wrong -

edit: whoa! i just learned that the book willy suggested will be ~$100 for those of us in the US… or did i miss something?.. $100! and i in college again?! …
Actually, it works out to about 76 US dollars…
are you converting the currencies?.. i didn’t do that at all… i simply looked at the price and added the shipping ($18, i think?)…
"The DAily Adventures of Mixerman"
best ever.
