help with voice parts

hello.
i have a question about the beginning of vocal parts in the recording.

when it start (the vocal part) it seems like a high tone or pitch. from the silence to voice (i dont know if im explain it correct)

i tried Fade In and it seems to be better, but still the first attack it a little high.

is there another effect to correct or prevent this?

Sounds like there could be some kind of limiting taking place. Be sure the mic is not AUTO leveling like some ZOOM H1 recorders can do. Run about 85% volume/amp/power/mic input. Never 100 % as this can and does cause distortion.
