Links worked great for me.
Sounds good.
Thanks for the replies Gents…
It appears that I’m making headway with the Bandcamp page…
Now that I am able to point to this stuff, I’m in the process of cleaning up this site and I’ll be working on the Maritime Express EP, again…
I am attempting to re-master that project and then creating a new space for the six songs that are included in that project…
I working on song three as I reply to this thread…
It’s just a Level and EQ with a little Verb adjustments, to the songs… I have an edit to the ending on one of the songs…
Can’t remember which one…
It doesn’t have a “Clean” outro on which ever one it is…
Anyway, all this work amounts to some editing and re-mastering…
Nothing new…
Bill…
O.K. I got the Maritime Express Project ready to re-load over at the Bandcamp Maritime Express Page… Re-edited and re-mastered…
See if I can fix that part of the Bandcamp site…
We’ll see how it goes…
Bill…
The Page is somewhat better…
How else can I attempt to FIX IT
??
Bill…
Looks fine to me! which one is you?
That photo belongs to the trio group, Organization…
The guy to the left is the drummer, Harry… I work with him on the daytime job, when I work… The guy in the foreground, is Doug Roche, the guitar player and the other guy is Ali Misener, the bass player…
I’m off on a health leave-of-absence, till I get my vision fixed…
I am in the midst of lense implant surgery, waiting to get the right eye done…
I only worked in one trio group…
Not my cup-of-tea…
Too much energy is required to work on a trio stage…
Back in the '60’s and '70’s there were some 8-10 groups working the Bar scene, here…
We worked one-and-two week stands, from Bar-to-Bar…
This group worked up the street one week and down the street the next week…
Six and seven nights a week…
We never got to hear the other stages but we all knew each other… Many of these guys are not with us anymore…
The ones that are, are in various stages of health…
sigh…
ME… ?
I found myself in a fortunate position where I would be
a Fill-in Bass Player…
If any of the bass players fell ill or were away for any reason, I would play as the fill-in bass player, on many of these stages…
So, I got to play with most of these guys…
When I look back, I don’t know how I did it…
My calendar was always full…
It was rare, I found myself without work…
The energy required to do that ?
These guys were all the best musicians this community could provide…
At the end of the week, many of them owed more money to the Bar than they took home…
ME
?
I took it all home…
Well…
most of it…
Many of us did radio, TV and Jingle Work, as well…
There was plenty of work to be had, back then…
Not so, anymore… sigh…
Anyway, now that I have this Bandcamp site working better, from the layout point-of-view, I find that I’m unable to get the Maritime Express project photos to appear as I would like to see them…
What gives ?
I find that I’m unable to get the correct Image Size to appear and I am unable to post the “Cover/Credits” to properly show…
If it ain’t one thing, it’s another…
Well…
Lots to learn…
Any help in this matter would provide me with resolve to Fix this Layout, issue…
Thanks…
Bill…
You ain’t gonna find me in many photos of Band Pictures, over here… I always knew just where to stand…
I way always one strp outta the spot light…
Nobody knew who the bass player was, when they saw photos of many of these stages…
I know what you are saying, Bill - we used to work full time jobs, go to college, and play gigs 3 or 4 nights a week. I couldn’t begin to do anything like that now. What the heck!?!?!
I liked the Organization stuff - great bass sound, very much of the time.
needs more cowbell!
I had one of them…
I broke the handle on it and I tossed it out…
I need to replace it…
and…
That stuff is so old, anyway it was all the rage when it was done…
Seems to me that project was redone before it got to the plastic…
There was, if I remember an AKG Verb/Spring Box used on the Two-Track…
The Box was about 4ft. high and about 20"-24" square… I don’t know the model# of it…
Looked like a mini out-house…
I’d like to have that spring box today…
Bill…
Anyway, the site is getting some Hits… and their families are downloading the files and getting more use from their computers than writing mail, back-and-forth…
