Recommendations?
I’m trying to find some software that will allow me to record streaming radio over the internet to wav/mp3 etc on a scheduled basis (ie like a tape deck plugged into the radio). Has anyone got any recommendations for something cheap/free?

I’ve just had a look but unfortunately there only seem to be the software upgrades on the site.

I think you need something like this Stationripper
It downloads the songs that are playing on your internet radio.
If it streams at 128 you cn download a 128 mp3 file.
there is a free version, i've never tried it, but one of the members at mp3HP was testing it

My Ego-Sys soundcard allows me to do it via DirectWire, a virtual patch panel.

I found that my version of Cool Edit has a “timed recording” facility, so that’s now doing the job. Thanks for all the tips.
