Is this common?

Waiting for serial numbers

My first post and it had to come out sounding like a complaint…

I paid for and upgrade from 16 to 24 bit night before last. I’ve sent an email to support and not gotten a response, nor have I gotten the unlock codes to allow me to record 24 bit.

If it’s common for this to happen, I’ll let it go and just wait. Somebody please tell me if I’m worrying for no good reason.

Nah, that’s uncommon, but email Mr. Antonioli and he’ll straighten it right out, if past history is any precedent.

I sent him an email yesterday and one today and have not heard back. I won't worry, though. I'll try to wait patiently... :)

Does he need me to send a message in Italian? My Italian is lousy, but the emails I’ve sent were in English.

I've replied (as I always do) to all registration related issues I've received in the last two days.
A common cause of problems is anti-spam filters, make sure that your spam filter is not discarding my replies.
Please use the feedback link on the website to contact me, it should automatically send you a 'message received' email so that if you don't receive it you know that there's a problem receiving mails from the ntrack.com server. Depending on how your (or your internet provider's) anti-spam filters are set even if you receive the auto-reply you may still not receive the actual reply, or it may end up in the 'spam' folder.

Flavio.

Thank you, Flavio. I sent a feedback message and received a copy of it in my inbox.

Ha! It was a matter of SECONDS, not minutes, but SECONDS, before I received your reply. All is well.

I’m impressed!

We have to remember that Flavio is way ahead of us over here, in the America’s…

I think it’s 5 hours for me and where I live… Well…

We all know that…

Now I gotta learn how to use this thing...

Hi ellarrwhofan:
We ain’t gonna pin you down… but we’re waiting to hear a track-or-two… We’re all interested in how you manage with n-Track and your DAW, and all…

Bill…

Best customer support on the web.

Well, if you don't mind hearing covers, I really want to jump into this thing. We'll see how soon I can turn out some decent results.

I haven't written any complete songs lately. I actually haven't gotten so far as buying a mic yet, but that's going to happen within the next few days.

So we'll see.

I ordered my upgrade on the 28th of May. It’s now June 3rd.
I’ve emailed several times and left feedback twice.

Still no registration codes.

Or response.

Yes, I monitor my bulk and spam folders.

Haven’t used n-track since 2.something and I’d like to access the software I’ve purchased.

(Please)

Thanks,

a formerly (and future?) satisfied user

Hi gregconley:
Something don’t sound right… Have you changed your E-Mail address since you last had registration codes? Did you pay for the reg. codes by Credit card? If you did, your credit card should now show a debit… If there is no debit to your credit card account it sounds like the purchase has missed being processed…

Bill…

Thanks Bill.

My online statement shows my card being charged on the 30th and I have a link to my online receipt.

I don’t think my email has changed since I bought the program originally (2.0), although I have a different address now.

We’ll see…

Here’s a similar story: I emailed Flavio sometime back because I was having these strange problems, as if nTrack4 was not registering my codes correctly. I was getting these sounds every 20secs (i.e. crippleware, etc) and I even blamed a VST for it (there’s a thread here I started). After researching here about it, I found a few threads, and came to a definite conclusion that the bug was due to upgrading to SP2 of Windows XP and I am supposed to ask Flavio for new codes that work with SP2. I don’t use nTrack that much and so I don’t really need to upgrade to v5 if I have to, and would like to squeeze a little more out of v4. He never replied and I never emailed him back, since at the time I didn’t know the exact error, yet. Will Flavio honor my requisition for new codes for post-XP/SP2 nTrack4 ?

Talking about these issues on the Forum is not gonna help you guys… You have to write Flavio some mail at the support address… There is non of us on this Board that can help you with the issues you have except Flavio… This is all specific in nature and wouldn’t help you in your endeavour to fix your issues… If you’ve written Flavio’s support mail with a letter and you did not see any mail confirmation in your E-Mail “in box” then… the mail you sent him did not or may not have reached him… As I understand it, a confirmation E-Mail appears at your inbox when you send support mail to “Support@n-Track”…

Bill…

IME: I found the breakdown was on my end. Once I gave Flavio an email address that didn’t have a screwy spam filter setting, he was able to get through. As I said, it took him mere seconds to get me squared away once I took care of the problems, which were all on my end.

Try sending him an email from a pristine Hotmail or Yahoo account and I bet it’ll clear up.

I’ve seen many of this type of question over the time I’ve been hear and 99.999999999% of them end up with Flavio explaining that he has replied and that the recipient’s email address has rejected the response or filed it as spam.
