Issues and New features

Issues:

I have issues with n-track mainly because of the fact that whenever i made a loud song it’s scaled down the volume which make my music worse because the song supposed to be loud and only sound good when it’s loud, and yes i already turn off soft clipping, it would be nice you guys find a way to stop this and put a settings whether to turn it off or turn it back on

Features request:

I want to make a music where the volume decreases and increases like a lofi music, but it kind of hard, i was thinking you can made the record button function for more stuff like you record the action of you messing with the volume and pan, or you can do it manually where there’s a track for volume and pan control, where you put a dot and connect the dot whether to go down or up, Basically i want to use the volume and pan like an instrument.. Or maybe you have some idea how it works, but thanks for reading this

I’m not sure if I understand the issue with volume. Please send a sample song in sgw format that has the issue or send a short video showing what’s happening. If you turn off soft clipping, n-Track doesn’t do any manipulation of the volume. Of course if you set the levels too high the signal will be clipped resulting in a distortion. To make a song louder without clipping consider using a Limiter on the master.

You can program changes in volume of tracks in a number of ways. You can use volume envelopes (see this video tutorial, you can record parameter automation (for example for the Gain plugin).
