Haven’t tried in n, but works alone
I found that JS works well in energyXT vsti for the problem I was having concerning driving JS with a pre-recorded .wav file without having to use a multitracker/sequencer. Very simple to set up and effective and doesn’t seem to need the audioM8 plugin. I load energyXt vsti into Chainer or MiniHost, then load ZAMP (although I wish I could find a simple .wav vst file player that did nothing but play the file) and JS into energyXT, load the .wav file into ZAMP and go for it. Works great so far. Haven’t tried this setup in n, although I don’t know why anyone would want to, because n has the capacity itself. However, just thought I’d mention it in case anyone wanted another option.
