Just b/c I wanted to bump JDET's post

Nah, not really

Here’s a piece of trash:

Nothing Moves and Nothing Crawls - click here…

piece of trash? i should say not. and since i should, i will, say ‘not.’
how catchy is that? what a great, bouncy, groovy sound. if those guitar parts were played on an electric 12-string, it could’ve come out of the Byrds’ catalog. what a great feel.
didjoo uze yur jamstix on thees wun? if so, good job programming or whatever you do with jamstix. the drum track definitely adds to the groove, not detract like midi/computer drums usually do.

You two hang out here a while - you both think your stuff sucks.

I’ll turn out the light for ya!

Great pieces both of you - now cut the “mystuffistrashtalk.”

ha!
tom can cut it, his work has ‘listenablitynessocity’. my stuff reminds people of composers who were dismissed as communist propagandists!

There's a difference?!?!?

Heh... you guys rule...

D

Good tune Tom

You guys totally crack me up. My ego is so large that I have to keep it domesticated or at least tame by constant public self-abasement.

Anyway, having one’s work dismissed as an idealist aberration is a compliment in most leftist circles. :agree:

Actually, that is not JamStix, or, it sort of is partly. I played kick and snare on my keyboard with JS samples and corrected some mishits but did not quantize, over dubbed me playing an actual kit, but just some snare hits and tom hits, and all of the thin metal pieces that vibrate, all in one take with one mic placed out front about 4 feet and up about 4. Sounds nicely trashy to me.

Oh - and I succeeded in bumping this above yours! Ha!

Now watch SpreaderCraig join in and say “My stuff sux more than yours.”

if craig were to say such a thing, flavio would delete his post and he knows it
so i don’t think he’d waste the time. that’s as silly as it would be for bushy to say ‘mission accomplished’ about iraq. neither one would say anything so silly and fundamentally and laughably flawed…

Yeah - you’re right Craig knows how good he is, and his confidence has grown.
Bush on the other hand… I give him the benefit of the doubt on that deal - I’m sure he simply asked an advisor “What’s my mission here?” as he put on the flight suit. The advisor told him "Your mission is to fly in - land and say ‘Mission Accomplished.’"

One of those Yes, I mean No, deals.

Oh, by the way the rocky mountain jab was noted with a chuckle today! :D

Darn it Tom you have it nailed.

Aaahh a soft middle section…now there’s an idea I can use…what’s the spoken bit though? Can’t quite hear it.
Love the tune/production etc. Great stuff again.

My stuff sux more than yours! (If I’m testing the levels in the car…I won’t even have the window down in case someone hears…)
:;):

You can't hear it, and I'm not saying!

And with this post I gain the top of the pile again! :D

…it sounds like…

“Sisters chained up” in a cockney accent…at about 2 minutes… is that what it is?

One of the kids dropped something just before his overdub, mikes were hot - he said “go pick that paper up.”

Ifn you put it back into a daw and reverse it and play it bassakwards it says

"Tom is the Walrus of Strawberry Diamonds"

You beat me to it Yaz!

Tom - you gotta play with reversing on the up slides - they sound awesome backwards - copied and pasted back in tempo!

I swear it say’s Poppa is dead!

ROFLMAO
