Config for KORG nanoKONTROL2
In case anyone else has a KORG nanoKONTROL2 and runs into trouble setting it up, I’ve uploaded my config and everything I needed to configure it to work with n-Track.
Config and Setup Files
Here is a write up (included in the read me file):
Install the USB-MIDI Driver
Install the KORG KONTROL Editor
Connect your device and open the KORG KONTROL Editor
In the File menu Open "n-Track Setup.nktrl2_data"
In the Communications window click "Write Scene Data"
Open n-Track
Open Settings->Preferences
Select Midi
Click "Midi Devices"
Make sure your nanoKONTROL2 is selected in the MIDI Input box
Goto Settings->Midi faders/control setup
Check the box "Enable input MIDI devices"
Click "Load configuration"
Select "n-Track nanoKONTROL2 configuration.config"
Should be good to go.
This config sets up the buttons on the left
Track Left Nothing
Track Right Nothing
Cycle Rewinds track to 0 (beginning of track)
Fastforward Fast forwards
Rewind Rewinds
Stop Stops
Play Play/Stops
Record Records
Marker Set Sets a marker
Marker Left Moves back 1 marker
Marker Right Moves forward 1 marker
This config sets up the sliders and buttons for the first 8 tracks like this:
Slider Volume
Knob Pan
S Solo
M Mute
R Arm for record

you should try that controller with zyklusimprovisor midi looper.
works well
