Hi - Just looking at buying a new Windows laptop and have seen some with snapdragon processors (believe these are ARM RISC type chips). Have seen some indications that these might not be compatible with some music software - was wondering - will nTrack Studio work with these? Specifically I would want to use it with a Behringer UPHORIA UMC204HD interface and probably a snapdragon plus processor in the laptop.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi Andrew,
the current version of n-Track is built for x86 (Intel/AMD) CPUs. It does run well on the latest generation of Snapdragon CPUs using Windows x86 emulation.
We are working on a Arm native version of n-Track for Windows, we plan to release it in a month or so, which will run on Snapdragon CPUs without needing the x86 emulation so it will have better performance.
Flavio.

That’s great - thanks for the rapid response
When it comes to rapid response, n-track is the most attentive dev I’ve ever seen when it comes to improving their DAW
