I find it difficult to believe that the “Minor fixes” listed in the upgrade notes would change the minimum specs required to run the app.

Considering I have seen this in at least two other ios apps:

MIDI Designer Pro
TF7

I recall the developer of MDP mentioned there was a problem during build from XCode, could this be the case with n-track also?

The issue seems to be related to a bug of the Apple Store or a problem during the build from xCode as you mentioned.
I will start to investigate to restore the app availability as soon as possibile.
