Bingo!
Hang loose… I’ll have a stumper for you here in a minute…
D
EDIT: Try this one…

Are you kidding me D, jeeezzz
What is kanpuu?
Danged if I know Yaz… I couldn’t believe it when I got the translation back from Babelfish. LOL! I thought "What the… I said Japanese NOT Klingon!"
I’ll give a hint… it is an excellent but much unknown Skynyrd tune. I’m so sick of Sweet Home, Freebird and Gimme Three 9mm slugs to the brain… I could puke. They have many excellent tunes that get nowhere near the air play as The BIG Three… (Ack)
D
I had to find a definition of kanpuu, cold wind blowing. OK, excellant song dude!
Things Going On.
Man I was supposed to give a bass lesson at 4:30 and they didn’t show up! I could have been taking a nap!

Things Going On.
HA! Yaz has good taste! Never doubted you for a second! That's what I meant about their "unknown" stuff. I "banned" a radio station down here for years because if they played LS it was one of the big three. Some of their best stuff never gets air play.
D - Southern "Hic" Red-neck (at least part-time)
1st 3 lp’s had some great never heard songs. Mississippi Kid, I need You, On the Hunt. Killer tunes no-one ever heard.
Just us red necks! I’m a pt red neck, it’s when the anger management thingy kicks in LOL.
American by birth- Southern By The Grace Of God!
(YazMiester @ Aug. 08 2007,13:08)

Yup.
OK, I wouldn’t say that this is a good song, and it might reveal too much of a childhood in American Suburbia, but the translation is rather funny:
<!–QuoteBegin>
say me Saturday at night 9 o the uptight ’ clock, the only light/write of the radio which I hear my range
which is felt everyone who is obtained the feet the permission of gonna the seat
which obtains the fact that you lose your heart of the Detroit stone city
the gonna movement which is obtained cause under everyone
I had to do this for our Canadian friends:
<!–QuoteBegin>
It orders the true patriot love of all thy sons.
The incandescence center we the rise of thee, are strong, look at free true north!
Directly, the empty and it is wide, O Canada, we stand in supervision for thee.
Storing the God being beautiful, the free our land!
O Canada, we stand in supervision for thee.
O Canada, we stand in supervision for thee.
I especially like the line “Storing the God being beautiful”

Alright:
Give us a root key for that one, Tom… We’ll all do a track for you… Maybe, we can get you to do the Vocal Track…
Bill…
OMG Tom’s doing Kiss tunes!
dETROIT rOCK cITY!
da-dada-dada-dada-dada-dada…
I’m begining to wonder about you Tom!
On the highway of the dark desert, passing by the air to interval,
looking at the light/write thing which as for cold air
me of the smell my hair of colitas which rises to forward being warm
it does not stop she raising to Toguti as for my vision
where my head raises heavily between the night
my over there was brought up dimly and flickers;
I the bell of delegation and inquired about that I thought in by my,
’ as for this it is possible to be the heaven, or
or and the candle which has been attached ’
it was possible to be, the method hell her over there
being voice under the passage she showed me,
I those… as for me thought of that you inquire about that you say

As Don Henley said…“Now I remember why we split up!”

And as Glenn Frey said; “Hotel California my arse! Stick this one on you and see how it feels country boy!”

Oh yeah, sorry for being Awol, yeah, it was lay lady lady; the brass bed was a give away I guess.

You know, I really love that song.
Playing the outro with my wee stubby fingers was always a challenge, especially as I tried to play both parts at once.
But I love the lyrics too. I could never figure out what they meant! There again, that really fits in with the rest of my life!
Yep, Hotel Cali. Not sure what the lyrics meant, I always got a feeling of Stephen Kings “The Shining” when I listened to it.
Playing both outro parts at once? LOL
Lay Lady Lay, it was woman of position. Reminded me of the Red Neck “t’was the night before christmas”
"Lady of the night, Lady of the night, Lady of the night."
In Politically correct America you can’t say “Ho, Ho, Ho.” anymore!
